The music video which I think is great fun, splendidly performed and edited is "I Could be the One". This has a strong story telling element, has humour, is excellently edited with contrasting colouration indicating illusion and reality. The repetitive monotonous shots in the office could be replicated by your character going through the early morning rituals cutting to a dream sequence and back again.
A variety of highly colour saturated misen-en-scene contrasting with the bleak dreariness of reality would be impressive..
